宀 Gallery is proud to present Drawings by Gedvile and Lousy. The exhibition showcases 9 original drawings created by both artists, incorporating their unique styles. Lousy’s bold iconography and loose continuous line drawings of pseudo-spiritual characters are complemented by Gedvile’s meditative abstract mark-making and primary tones. The exhibition will adapt from the 宀 Gallery’s usual format due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Daytime viewing will take place between 15 and 21 Feb from 12 - 6 pm.

About Gedvile Grace Bunikyte
Gedvile Grace Bunikyte was born in Lithuania, educated in the UK and moved to Hong Kong in 2015. She explores drawing and painting in a ritualistic, meditative practice. Her images grow from a balance between simplicity and chaos, often limiting her palate to a few primary colours alongside detailed, lucid marks.

About Lousy
Hong Kong born and based Lousy is an artist who draws on all surfaces across all spaces, taking cues from the proactive and spontaneous energy of the streets. His work conveys a spectrum of emotions with a stripped-down approach and is inspired by different cultures such as ancient cave paintings, punk rock and manga.

The exhibition will transform the nightlife venue with acrylic paintings, limited edition digital prints, sculptures, projected animations and tapestry.

‘Pat Pat’, Claudia’s seventh solo-exhibition, takes its name from an artwork in the ‘Hong Kong’ series, comically illustrates Cantonese slag and innuendos. Each piece is accompanied by a caption offering insight to the language for non-Cantonese speakers.
