Celestial Mechanics: Form and Future in the Work of Gerhard Richter and Sean Scully

Celestial Mechanics: Form and Future in the Work of Gerhard Richter and Sean Scully

Not to be missed (and I am saying this not because — well, not only because — Richter is my favorite artist). The exhibition beautifully illustrates the dialogue between these two artists, showing the similarities in the explorative and philosophical approach both artists are using. When you see their works together, hanging side by side, these similarities strike you as obvious, as something you always should have known. The exhibition is worth visiting even just for this eye opening click, this aha moment, this chance to see the synergy.
