I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

Well, prepare to my personal mix of associations: Bosch’s theatrical darkness, Michael Kvium’s gestures and pattern obsession, Alexander McQueen’s 2006 fragile melancholy, Rembrandt’s brushstroke face modeling (not including Neo Rauch here; I still see too much of Social Realism in his artworks). All of these are just instruments helping the artist to show the attractively daunting space in between.
