Borrowing from the psychological language of cinema and literature, this exhibition seeks to explore the undisclosed tensions which lie beneath the superficial compulsions - money, status, success - that govern modern life. Obsession, desire, violence, vanity, fear, these impulses, which in their excess become volatile and destructive, are the forces, fractures and extremes which often drive the creative impulse. PSYCHO: Identity Alienation Shadow Duality will reveal that appearances are not always what they seem, and that, just beneath the surface, lies a darker, more unstable, and often more seductive, reality.
