  • Hong Kong Hong Kong (map)

Sotheby’s Asia is thrilled to return to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this spring from 2 – 9 April with The Hong Kong Sales, presenting an exciting line-up of nearly 20 auctions across all facets of art and luxury.

Kicking off a night of livestreamed sales on 5 April will be The Now Evening Auction, offering the most exciting, cutting-edge works on the market and providing a masterpiece context for well-established and newly canonised artists such as Jadé Fadojutimi, Nicolas Party, and Daniel Richter. Encompassing more than a century of pioneering artistic production, the works showcased in the Modern & Contemporary Evening Auction traverse the major artistic movements of the late 19th and 20th centuries. Leading the sale is a phenomenal painting by Yoshitomo Nara, a glorious abstract painting by Zao Wou-Ki from the pinnacle of his artistic career, and works by Monet and Renoir – commemorating the 150th anniversary of Impressionism.

From The Luxury Sales comes the inaugural live auction of Moutai in Hong Kong, titled Moutai Extravaganza. Among the highlights for the jewellery and watch lover out there is a dazzling coloured diamond and diamond necklace by Boucheron, and the Patek Philippe Reference 2526, the first self-winding wristwatch made specially for renowned collector J.B. Champion.
