Blooming: The Art of Gardens in East and West at HKMoA

Blooming: The Art of Gardens in East and West at HKMoA

Perfect exhibition to cool down a bit during Hong Kong summer. Centered around the themes of gardens, their history and significance in different cultures, the exhibition provides not only a fresh overview but also the physical sensation of freshness (or maybe that were just the museum’s aircons, but I choose to believe in the power of art).
The artworks on display are from the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Palace of Versailles in France, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and even with IG posts allowing 20 pictures to be shown, it was very difficult to select from my photos.

Exhibition period: 24.04–29.07
Venue address: 2/F, The Special Gallery, HKMoA
