Nov 1 Sasaoka Yuriko: Planaria at PHD Group

Theatrical, macabre and grotesque (but also not without a humour, in a kind of “Dumb Ways to Die” sense) exploration of mortality, our relationships with death and trauma. The title of the show refers to Planaria, flatworms with an extraordinary and to die-for (sorry, can’t help myself) ability to regenerate. Even though humans’ physical regeneration is limited our mental resilience and ability to withstand the existential dread allow us to still have a lot of hope and experience fun and excitement.
