Mixing dreams and reality, playing with scale and composition, Marty Schnapf creates cinematic paintings rich with symbols and coded motifs. Colourful birds and glistening waters, distorted figures and mountain ranges, abstracted bodies and claustrophobic staircases — the paintings serve as portals into the realm of possibility (and work perfectly with the Victoria Harbour view).
