Ah, that feeling when you walk into the gallery and immediately feel jealous because the artworks look like they were so fun to create! And I know that the artist was very meticulous about the paint properties and the qualities of all the other materials he used — and, god, did he use a lot! — but the works still look effortless and spontaneous.
These paintings are all about paint and painting. No hidden narratives, no coded stories, just pure joy and a bit of jazz.
