Dan Flavin: Grids at David Zwirner

The corner placement immediately reminded me of the controversial placement of Black Square by Kazimir Malevich — he chose to place it in the upper corner of the room, the so-called red corner, a sacred place reserved for Christian icons in Russian Orthodox tradition. Maximalistic in terms of colour, the grids form beautiful prisms of light — and the more time you spend looking at them, the more your eyes adjust to nuances and details.
