South Ho Siu Nam: Wandering Daily at Blindspot Gallery

South Ho Siu Nam: Wandering Daily at Blindspot Gallery

Watching the artist’s performance in a gallery — specifically seeing him marching between his own works — made me think of what usually stays behind the scenes: the thousands of steps taken while wandering daily in search of the space, the scene, the shot. I love the combination of literal and conceptual, poetic and humorous, personal and generational that is characteristic of all the works by South Ho.
