I think this exhibition should have a playlist that would express the contrast between these artworks even more. Cheerful and joyful works by Chow Ciao Chow could be represented by a pop banger; bright and bold paintings by Doris Chui Suet Wai would be that dance summer hit with surprisingly sad lyrics. Quiet and melancholic scenes by Ant Ngai Wing Lam should be paired with songs about heartbreak, and monochrome and constructed compositions by Jake Wong Man Kit make me think about math rock.
