White Reclusion is the ancient name for autumn. Compared to the growth and abundance of spring and summer, autumn is closer to an inward-turning process: things are still happening, but the pace slows, energy gradually restrains itself, and life preserves the traces of its next phase in stillness. The exhibition uses this concept as a starting point, focusing on how artists depart from the external world and gradually return to themselves through their creation.
