What is it that moves us?

A mother and her memories of stolen guavas, an aunt and the shifting tides of her encyclopaedia business, an uncle, a cousin and their days at sea, and many more who set out and travel, first from the provinces of the Philippines to the metropolis, and eventually to Hong Kong and elsewhere.

In 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒔, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔, through images, videos, installations and collected materials, these fragments gather around movement, memory and belonging — and the ways a sense of the world takes shape.
