Cai Lei: Constructing Void at Tang Contemporary

As was famously said by Nietzsche: “And when you are constructing the void long enough, the void constructs you back.” Or something like that.
Okay, okay, the exhibition is not about that, it’s a poetic take on brutalism, freshly built and abandoned buildings, and of course, on concrete.
