A touching personal story of rediscovering and reconnecting with family stories and cultural heritage. Sometimes we grow up without knowing our roots and it’s only much later in life that we feel curious and eager to learn about them. Sometimes we don’t see any value in the objects holding the stories — and even in stories themselves. Sometimes it takes us a lot of effort to collect all the treads into one personal tapestry of belonging.
