Undercover Underworld at Tai Kwun

Undercover Underworld at Tai Kwun

Confession: I’ve never watched any of the undercover films this exhibition refers to. But that didn’t really matter: the show is brilliantly executed, with astonishing attention to detail. You can easily lose track of time just wandering around and marveling over it. It’s a perfect exhibition for anyone who loves Hong Kong movies — or is a fan of film sets. Equally great for those who are a bit nostalgic (old telephones! VHS cassettes!) and for those who want cool photos for their Instagram.
Co-Curators: Sunny Chan Wing San, Kristof Van den Troost.
Presented in association with Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers

Exhibition period: 1.08–5.10
Gallery address: Duplex Studio, Tai Kwun, Central
