Visiting an art museum is no longer a special occasion; picking up a pen to draw is not a capability exclusive to artists — we are trying to develop a new service form between contemporary art and social welfare services — “contemporary art services”.
Organized by the SAHK, sponsored by the Arts Development Fund for People with Disabilities, and curated by HASS Lab, the exhibition "Art / Daily" showcases the possibilities of creation between artists and persons with disabilities within contemporary art: first visiting art museums together to exchange feelings about artworks on an equal footing; then returning to the centers together to create using different art mediums.
It is not just an exhibition, but a marathon of socially participatory art that introduces contemporary art creative methods, curatorial thinking, spatial experience and audience participation into the daily life and work context of service users. To date, the program has linked 9 participating centers, with more than 20 art venue visits and more than 90 art creation workshops.
Venue address: 4/F Tomorrow Maybe, G/F Lobby and LG Food Hall
