As part of our 45th-anniversary programme, Then and Now, Alisan Fine Arts is pleased to present an exhibition at our Central gallery celebrating four contemporary literati masters from mainland China—Chen Jialing, Jiang Baolin, Lu Fusheng, and Peng Xiancheng—whose pioneering practices have played a pivotal role in the evolution of contemporary ink painting since the 1980s. Forming the "Then" chapter of a cross-generational dialogue, the exhibition examines the continuing transformation of Chinese ink art while honouring the rich traditions from which it emerged.
Opening Reception: Tuesday 25 August, 5:30-7:30pm
Gallery address: 21/F, 1 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central
