Aug 27 Kongkee: Future Jataka at gdm

Exhibition

Instead of depicting the Buddha’s past lives, Kongkee imagines his possible future lives — in a blindingly bright future of cyberpunk. Through paintings, LED animations, lenticular lightboxes, and neon, the artist raises acutely relevant questions about the human place in the world of AI and robots, questions we should find answers to today.
