Ozymandias: Myths of the Near Future at Sotheby’s

A fascinating and atmospheric mixture of my favourite things: art, fashion, music, scents, and books. The exhibition is a bit paradoxical: post-catastrophic repurposing and cherishing feel cosy, the wild assemblage of patinated and worn seems familiar, the juxtaposition and dialogue of all the objects look like a cave of a very intelligent and romantic dragon. Poetic exhibition-experience. Loved seeing so many Greg Lauren’s designs.
(Side note, Andrew Luk looks absolutely correct next to Urs Fischer; yes, I am very biased)
