Aug 23 Lao Tongli: The Living Field at INKstudio

My immediate association was, of course, dendritic trees — and I was very close: intertwined branches and blood vessels are the major inspirations behind these intricate gongbi paintings. The “living field” in the title includes the flow of life, natural interconnectedness, growth and memory.
